I don´t know what to say - you have been such an inspiration, accompanying me since I started to really get into comics. I didn´t know you had a DA-account. I would have loved to get to know you. Thank you very much for enlightening me and my work and my life. Your spirit will be carried on.

Hi Alain,
I'd like to thank you for all the years of great art that you have shared with me (and everyone else of corse) over the years. As a teenager and young man I followed your stories with a passion in Heavy Metal, Metal Hurlent (I dont even read/speak French, but I collected them anyways) and the German SchwerMetall.
It was always something special follwing your inkwork, it inspiered me to work harder on my own skills and also to try out new methods in my workings which brought out fantastic results if I may say so myself. Along side of Moebius, I think I have leand more about how to use ink to my advantage from you than from any other artist I can think of.
So... again thanks for sharing it with me/us!
